How It Works
A professional applicator will visit your property to spray a low volume pyrethrum* to your grass, shrubs, and a perimeter around your house. Applications can be done as a one-time special event or on a program every 3-4 weeks through the season. These are a few ways mosquito control works:
- Flushing action – Disturbs insects so that they move out of their hiding places.
- Fast knockdown and kill
- Repellent – Pyrethrum is a repellent to insects at very low concentrations.
- Biodegradable, non-polluting – Degraded by sunlight into harmless break down products.
- Minimal insect resistance
- Broad spectrum of activity – effective against a wide range of insects including mosquitos, gnats, fleas, aphids, ticks, etc.
